The Fortegra Group, a global specialty insurer and a subsidiary of Tiptree Inc., has announced the appointment of Richard Mangion as Chief Financial Officer for its UK and European business.
In his new position, Mangion will report to Ed Peña, Fortegra’s Chief Financial Officer. He will lead finance operations and help shape the overall strategy for the UK and European regions alongside the Executive team.
Peña expressed enthusiasm for Mangion’s appointment, stating, “Richard’s proven track record and extensive expertise will be critical as we continue to invest in our European growth.”
He added, “I am excited to welcome Richard to Fortegra and look forward to harnessing his experience to serve our stakeholders.”
Mangion brings over 20 years of industry experience to his new role. He joins Fortegra from Bridgehaven Insurance, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he spent seven years at HDI Global SE, most recently as Divisional Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer.
Earlier in his career, Mangion held various senior positions at companies such as W.R. Berkley, Everest Re, and Aspen Re.
