Lockton, a privately held insurance brokerage, has announced the appointment of Jeff Miller as National Practice Leader for the Stop Loss and Pharmacy practices.
Miller returns to the firm with more than 30 years of experience and a proven history of developing solutions tailored to meet evolving client needs.
His return comes at an important time, as clients continue to face rising expenses related to pharmaceuticals and overall healthcare.
Prior to rejoining Lockton, Miller served as President of Point6 Healthcare and was Office President at Ryan Specialty Benefits, where he guided organisational growth and aligned operations following several acquisitions.
During his previous tenure at Lockton, Miller held the role of EVP and Practice Leader, overseeing senior leadership in areas including actuarial services, integrated absence, precision health and wellbeing, compliance, global benefits, and voluntary benefits.
He also played a key role in acquiring and integrating Excelsior Solutions, a pharmacy consulting firm, as well as in coordinating the Houston and San Antonio offices.
Miller’s background also includes leadership roles at Aetna and PacifiCare of Texas, with earlier experience at Prudential and BlueCross BlueShield in Oklahoma.
