Everest Reinsurance, part of Bermuda-based Everest Group, has confirmed the appointment of Jason Koh from large European reinsurer Swiss Re as Head of Financial Risk, Asia Pacific (APAC).
Koh joined Everest Reinsurance last month following more than seven years with Swiss Re, where he most recently served as Vice President, Senior Underwriter Credit & Surety, based in Singapore.
This followed more than two years as Vice President, Credit & Surety Underwriter at Swiss Re, with Koh joining the firm in 2017 as a Credit & Surety Underwriter.
“Jason’s deep industry knowledge and strong relationships will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen Everest’s position in financial risks across APAC,” said Everest.
Earlier in his career, Koh spent more than two years with Euler Hermes as an Account Manager, which followed 15 months with QBE Insurance as a Regional Underwriter, Trade Credit.
Before working at global insurers and reinsurers, Koh was a Business Development Manager, Enterprise Banking, at OCBC Bank in Singapore for one year.
