Chambliss to manage Davies new flood division aimed to manage large-scale NA claims

Davies, a specialist professional services and technology provider for the insurance and regulated markets, is expanding its existing flood claims management with the launch of a new dedicated flood services division.

davies-group-logoThis new division, led by Jessica Chambliss as Senior Vice President, Flood Services, will allow Davies to manage large-scale claims in North America, including both private flood and National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) claims – while delivering faster, more efficient support to insurers across both residential and commercial markets in the region.

In her new role, Chambliss will lead a team of flood experts, aiming to expand the firm’s services for current and prospective clients. Her goal is to support insurers in maintaining resilience and responsiveness during surge events.

Joining Davies from Colonial Claims, LLC, the executive brings 25 years of experience in the financial and insurance industries, including 15 years in flood claims leadership.

She has held senior roles at both independent adjusting firms and major flood TPAs, where she led flood claims operations and built high-performing teams.

Commenting on her appointment, Chambliss said: “I’m really pleased to be leading the flood services division at Davies. With flood events becoming more frequent and complex, insurers need dependable partners who can respond at scale, while still delivering service excellence. At Davies, we’re focused on building a highly skilled team, supported by the right technology and training, to deliver consistent, efficient support across the claims lifecycle.”

This launch is part of Davies’ Vision 2030 strategy, which looks to bolster operational excellence and accelerate technology-driven innovation.

This includes leveraging automation and GenAI within its North American division to enhance claims efficiency and client outcomes.

In an effort to enhance leadership and expand services through North America, Davies also recently appointed Mike Heard as President of Operations for the region.
