Allianz Commercial, an insurance and financial services provider, has announced two permanent leadership appointments within its UK commercial division.
These changes, effective immediately, strengthen the company’s focus on delivering high-quality insurance solutions to mid-market and large corporate clients.
Graham Stait has been confirmed as Director, UK Markets, after serving in the role on an interim basis. With over 17 years at Allianz, Stait has held senior roles across claims, operations, and trading.
His understanding of the business and consistent success in generating cross-segment growth position Stait well to lead the mid-market segment. He will continue to support brokers and customers while driving profitable development across this important area.
Meanwhile, Luke Baker has been appointed Director, UK Global, and becomes UK Branch Manager of AGCS SE UK Branch, following full regulatory approval.
With close to 25 years of experience in both broking and underwriting roles across multiple regions, Baker brings a broad perspective on client needs and market dynamics.
Since joining Allianz in 2021, he has played a key role in the large corporate space and is well positioned to lead this segment into its next phase.
Phuong Ly, Managing Director of Commercial at Allianz UK commented: “These appointments are part of our UK strategy, aimed at cementing Allianz Commercial in the UK market. We are confident that our leadership team, including the recent appointments of Claire Buck as Chief Technical Officer and Adam Lloyd as Chief Underwriting Officer, are well-placed to drive our commercial ambitions forward.”
