Addresscloud, a UK geocoding and property intelligence expert, and Artificial, a London-based algorithmic underwriting and placement company, have partnered to enhance property intelligence and risk insights.

This integration will equip underwriters and brokers with access to more granular data, enabling them to make faster, more accurate decisions regarding US property risks.
By combining Addresscloud’s expertise in precise geocoding, building outlines, and property attributes with Artificial’s algorithmic underwriting capabilities, insurers will gain a more accurate view of property risk.
This development is expected to support better risk selection, pricing accuracy, and ultimately, stronger portfolio performance for carriers operating in the US market.
CEO of Addresscloud, Mark Varley, said: “Working with Artificial Labs allows us to extend the impact of Addresscloud’s data where it matters most: at the point of underwriting.
“Together, we’re helping insurers enrich their view of properties with highly granular intelligence, not just location, but construction, peril exposure, and other critical details that lead to better-written risks. We’re excited to be partnering with such an innovative company and look forward to building on this collaboration.”
The partnership will initially focus on enabling richer property enrichment within Artificial’s underwriting and placement workflows, with scope to extend into additional geographies and use cases over time as client demand grows.
Ed Howkins, Chief Growth Officer of Artificial, commented: “Our clients want underwriting tools that make them faster and more informed. Importantly, they value tools powered by the highest-quality data sources.
“ Partnering with Addresscloud strengthens our ability to deliver that, combining our Smart Underwriting and Placement tools with authoritative property intelligence that give clients a decisive edge. We’re delighted to be working with the Addresscloud team and look forward to deepening the partnership as we expand.”
