Velonetic, previously known as London Market Joint Ventures, has announced Bob James as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Callum Gibson as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately.
Velonetic is the trading name of Ins-sure Holdings Limited and Xchanging Claims Services Limited, the joint ventures between DXC Technology, the International Underwriting Association, and Lloyd’s.
These leadership changes mean that Chris Halbard, former CEO of the firm, will be leaving Velonetic.
The appointments aim to provide enhanced, integrated leadership across Velonetic, DXC and Lloyd’s, with support from the IUA, continuing to build transparency in delivery across tech build, testing, and quality assurance along with market engagement and readiness.
Shaun Crawford, Board Chair, Velonetic, commented on the appointments: “As we complete the build, and transition to the testing phases of the program, these leadership changes will help ensure the market’s objectives are delivered and embedded.
“I would like to thank Chris Halbard for his leadership in transforming the London Market Joint Venture into Velonetic, positioning us for this next phase of digital transformation.”
James concluded: “Completing Blueprint Two provides the Foundation for a data-first digital platform. I am proud to be part of the Velonetic team, and importantly, to work with DXC, the IUA, Lloyd’s, and everyone in the market, to complete the journey of Blueprint Two.”
